On the afternoon of scheduling, we may use the phone number given to contact you about programming decisions.

II. Times

Indicate your time preferences by numbering slots, “1” being best and “5” being worst. Mark as many 1's, as many 2's, as many 3's etc. as you want; you are not limited to having a single time slot as your first, second, third etc. choice if several are equally preferable. If one of your preferred slots is during a current block, you should provide an additional slot with an equivalent rating outside of the current block space, since placement in a block is something that the Programming Board must discuss with the block producer. Put an “X” in slots during which you cannot go OTA. If you are applying for a 1-hour show, write in the preferred hour within the time slot.

III. Show content

a) Please describe the content of this show for the programming board. This is different from the program guide description in that it should be a clear description of the show in all respects (relevant musical genres, types of issues it focuses on, etc.) whereas the program guide description can be more evocative or indirect.:

It covers all experimental music, but mostly experimental electronica, avant-rock, free improvisation, noise, musique concrete and other modern classical, ambient, field recordings.  I also sometimes include world music, unusual covers or interpretations of pop songs or standards (e.g. bootlegs, cutups, plunderphonics), sound effects, and so on.

b) Please describe the content of this show for the program guide in 25 words or less.
Skronk, plonkety-plonk, screaming, bleep-bloop, sine waves, avant booty-shake, and other luscious bits and bobs of pure, pleasurable noise.
c) What DJ name should accompany this description in the program guide?

Thao

IV. Other pertinent information (this may include relevant details of your current work situation, reasons for your inability to do a show at certain times, why you prefer one length of show over another, and so on).

I can't do the afternoon hours on Tuesday and Thursday because I have a class at the same time or have TA duties.
